On the one hand, the design aims to integrate the broadcasting house
into the context of the residential neighbourhood of free-standing
houses with gardens, on the other it creates a new original
architectural order.
In terms of both design and orientation, the proposed linear building
inserts itself into the existing structures and leaves the valuable old
trees untouched.
The project was organized as a media campus.
The studios fitted with state-of-the-art broadcasting high-technology
are placed vertically on three levels and grouped as broadcasting and
production areas. The offices of every unit are placed at split-levels
in two four-storey administration buildings next to the studios. Each
unit is accessed through the circulation core, a three-storey
transparent hall with staff lounge on every level.
